Unity
Websters dictionary defins unity as "a way of combining the parts in a work of art or literature so that they seem to belong together". The author of the site "Katherinelightsey.com" uses boxes to pull the images and the matching text together creating an over all unity. This site demonstraites unity in that its all about design and also the color scheme complements its self and the elements as a whole.
The colors to the right don't seem to go well together at all. A few of them would probably even clash if you were to throw them on a wall or bit of canvas.
As you can see thouhg, when arranged a certan way, those specific colors combined with specific shapes can bring unity to any design as artist Amy Brown demonstrats in the two images to the left.
