Line
Lines are another important element in design. Websters dfines them as "a narrow elongated mark drawn or proa mark (as by pencil) that forms part of the formal design of a picture distinguished from the shading or colorjected" With out them you wouldent have much of a design. Lines are every whare even in nature if you look hard enough. some are hard to see. like the lines that make up an intricate snoflake ( you need a microscope to see that and on top of that snow is ice so it will melt by the time you get every thing preped to see it) and a sunset (for that just pay atention to the place where the sun goes down. Thats called the horizon. You can see it easier at the beach). Even in the image of the room below there are lines.. The obvious ones being the peace sign but there are also those that make up the bed on the floor, the ones that exsist where the floor and walls meet and also the ones that make up the windows. Lines can be found every where. Its how you use them in your design that is key...
